Mac Lipstick Collection

Hi lovelies! This is my first blog post, so I thought it would be best to start off with the part of my makeup collection I love most... MY LIPSTICKS OF COURSE!

I've always had a love for lipsticks, even before my makeup craze began. However I didn't really own many. I only started buying high end products about a year and a half ago - and Mac lipsticks were one of the first things I splurged on. I personally LOVE Mac lipsticks, as do many people. The colour range and finishes they offer are amazing, theres so much variety which means theres a shade and finish for everyone. 

I only own Mattes, Retro Mattes, Amplified, Cremesheen and Satin lipsticks, which in my opinion are the best and have become my favourites! The colour payoff is excellent, and in most cases opaque - all glide on easily and one coat is always enough, however I find with the cremesheen finishes, more then one layer works better. The Mattes such as Ruby Woo are a bit drying and a little more difficult to transfer onto the lips, so make sure you prep those lips well beforehand ladies!

I know they all look the same, but I promise their all different lol! Anyways, as you can tell, I tend to drift more towards my pinks, plums and nude shades, as I get the most wear out of them. I tend to opt for them on a daily basis as I just find them easier to work with when I don't want too much of a bold lip.
