SWATCH: Mac Objects Of Affection - 2014 Mini Kits, Holiday Collection

Hi beautifuls! Back with another post and this time with something I've been dying to show you guys! This year Mac has really taken on board the exciting holiday season which is approaching, it is all about the glitter, lots an lots of it! All the pigments and glosses in the mini kits are just gorgeous, I can stare at them all day!

The packaging of each pigment/lipglass is BEAUTIFUL. Each set of lipgloss/pigments come in a box with a glitter lid and small bead work around the edges. How amazing do they look?!

Each of the sets retail for £26, which is a bargain considering the amount of product your getting. Pigments last for ages, and these minis aren't an exception, they will last for ages to as a little really does go a long way.

I purchased the Bronze Pigment set, the Pink & Rose Pigment set and the Nude & Red Lipglass set. At first I decided to order the Nude & Coral Lipglass set, but after swatching them at the store, I figured the nude and red set was more me, and included shades I would normally go for, so I though I'd play it safe with this set.

The lipglass sets contain 3 cremesheen glasses and 1 dazzlglass.

 With Flash                                Without Flash
Lipglass swatches: L-R: Paper Lantern (Cremesheen Glass), Dynasty at Dusk (Cremesheen Glass), Deelight (Cremesheen Glass), Love Alert (Dazzleglass)

The pigment sets contain 4 pigments and 1 glitter.
Pink and Rose:

  With Flash                                Without Flash
Swatches of Rose and Gold pigment set: L-R: Whisper Pink (Pigment), Tan (Pigment), Rose (Pigment), Reigning Riches (Glitter), Heritage Rouge (Pigment)

Bronze:

 With Flash                               Without Flash
Swatches of Bronze pigment set: L-R: Melon (Pigment), Naked Deep Dark (Pigment), Copper (Pigment), 3D Copper (Glitter), Chocolate Brown (Pigment)

Overall these mini sets are worth investing in, the packaging is beautiful and the boxes can be reused for storing other little bits and bobs. Pigments are difficult working with anyway as it can get a bit messy, but if you love to play around with eyeshadow looks, then you definitely should try at least one of the sets out, the shades are just amazing. I tried my best to swatch the glitter but I didn't have a base to use so sorry if it doesn't show up too well. But the rest glided on as I went to swatch them and are really pigmented. As for the lipglasses, they will look great on their own, however I will personally be using them over lipsticks when I want to add a bit more to my makeup look or when I fancy a bit of gloss.

Most of the sets seem to have sold out already, as are most Mac limited edition things online, however I would suggest popping into your local Mac store to have a look, they might still have a few.

Hope you enjoyed this my loves!
